Favorites — July & August
Happy Hump! I was planning to do a separate post for both months for you guys, but with moving and being sick so much this summer I wasn't able to get as much as I wanted done. So to make this not as overwhelming, I'm breaking it up into two parts, fashion & then everything else! To start, some pieces I've been wearing on repeat the last 2 months...
GRLFRND Black Denim
This pair of denim is amazing! It’s flattering, especially with the ankle cuffs, comfortable, and has the perfect distressing details! I’d love to getting to wear them here or there on cooler summer days, and can’t wait to wear them a lot this fall!
Raye Slides
Ray is one of my favorite shoe brands, if that’s not obvious enough from this post. These slides have gotten so many compliments and are perfect for elevating a casual, everyday look. They have a small heel which I love, but it’s small enough and block so they’re are very comfortable to walk in! I also love that they have a little bit of PVC so they also look a bit modern!
Raye Mules
Continuing with my rate a session… These are I think the coolest pair of shoes I got this summer! The heel in and of itself is so edgy! But I also love that they are a shiny croc material and have an angular toe. They look so fantastic with denim, skirts, basically everything, and are actually fairly comfortable for how high to heel is!
Snakeskin Cami
This cami! I think it’s one of the most expensive looking and flattering camis I own! The price point is a bit higher, although I did get it on sale, but it looks amazing and is beautiful quality. Snakeskin is in my opinion a neutral, and I find it works well with so many pieces in my wardrobe!
Butter Tank Bodysuit
My love for Wear Commando is no secret, but this piece I got a few weeks back has been on heavy rotation since then! The cut is so perfect and flattering for wearing alone or underneath a layer. I love that it’s seamless and smooth. And of course, one of my favorite parts of Commando, it feels like butter!
Furla Tote
This tote has become a favorite over the last month or so! I love the print, it’s classic, elevated, and gets so many compliments! I also love that it fits a good amount, has a few compartments for organizing, and the handles are just roomy enough to comfortably fit on your shoulder!
Amazon Tees
You might’ve noticed that I tend to wear T-shirts a lot on days I don’t have much to do besides work and errands. I love a good tee, but I am picky about the cut and thickness. I hate when tee/shirts are see-through! I’ve been loving a few of these Amazon tees as they are thick enough, well-made, and such a good price point! I love to buy them oversized and do a little not in the front to style them!
Blank NYC Leopard Skirt
Also not a secret is my love for Black and Lacy, especially their skirts! They fit so well, are super flattering, and the price point is great!! I love this faded leopard print denim skirt and have worn it so much!! The fact that the colors are a bit muted makes it not feel trendy or in your face, which is why I think I’ve gotten so much wear out of it!
