Count Your Blessings

Just a reminder to stop and count your blessings…

While just writing this reminder that I felt led to share with you guys tonight, I remembered a song about counting your blessings I grew up singing in church: “When upon life’s billows you are tempest tossed, when you are discouraged, thinking all is lost. Count your many blessings name them one by one, and it will surprise you what the Lord hath done.”

Remembering and reading the lyrics blew me away, because it’s something so simple, yet SO powerful, especially when it comes to manifesting.

I got myself in a bit of a funk the last couple weeks as I’ve been working on manifesting some big ticket things. I’m not super patient, and I don’t necessarily believe in patience so much as trusting the timing and staying in the flow of constantly doing the next aligned thing.

I also don’t consider myself to have the strongest faith, even though I’ve been told otherwise. I like to see evidence - often, and lots of it - that what I’m having faith. I’m manifesting and co-creating with God is coming. And it’s a work in progress to not freak out when I don’t.

But that’s the very thing that trips us up, because the key to manifesting is believing till you’re feeling the feelings of already having what you’re calling in before you have it. It’s faith-based work, and it can be hard.

But I realized yesterday, I did have evidence. At least, enough to help me stay in faith enough that I could release my attachment to not only what I was calling in, but also the ‘how’ for how it was coming. That evidence came from a few moments on the beach yesterday where mid-crying I called myself out for my freak out.

Because my life is amazing.

And I am so loved and supported by God and the people in my life and even you guys.

I have all my needs and more met.

I’ve never been happier or healthier or more connected to myself.

And as I started to count those blessings and feel gratitude for them, I realized:

They were my evidence.

Gratitude is how we stay in faith.

It’s how we stay high-vibe.

It’s the soul-mate partner of wanting more.
