Style Diary — Dressy-Casual Blush & Black

Happy Saturday!  I adore summer Saturdays.  The music school I work at is closed Friday through Saturday, which means the world is my oyster and I can do anything!  Including sleep in!!

Some of the items I ordered from the NSale (shop my top pics here!) came in this week, and this blush blouse is one of them!  While many items have been selling out quickly, this one is still in stock in several other colors! Zara is also having a great sale, which is where I scored these heels for only $16!  I was seriously in shock when I saw the price tag! These sold out, but almost all of the shoes they still have are also $16, and those that are more are around $20.

I loooove mixing casual and dressy pieces, especially because it's typically how I dress for work! I like being comfy, yet looking put-together and polished.  Plus, with dressy-casual looks, you can easily transition from activity to activity, without going home to change!  I paired this flowy, feminine blouse with my comfy ripped ankle jeans and some classy black heels. Then added a few pieces of gold jewelry on the delicate side, and my favorite black cross body bag. While most of the pieces I wore are on the dressy side, the jeans take it down a few notches and give it the perfect blend of dressy & casual.
