AW17 — Velvet for Fall — Jordan Laurelle

Happy Saturday everyone! I can't believe how fast the week has flown by! It was a busy one, but I think part of what made it feel so busy was how hectic the last two weeks were! I found myself needing a bit of time to catch up on sleep and life, so things have been a bit quieter than usual on here and my IG. But I'm gearing up for some fun and exciting things with the holidays coming, so I guess it's the calm before the storm!

Lately I've been loving adding bits of velvet into my outfits. While I snagged these shoes last fall, I still wear them at least once a week. Somehow, they still look new! I can't wear them without getting stopped to be asked where they're from or be given a compliment. Burgundy & Velvet seems to be a powerful combo!

I also love this cami that I snagged on Nordstrom a month or so ago. It has a bit of velvet on it and that detail plus the lace makes it so lovely! I absolutely love wearing lacy camis with jeans, pumps, and a layer during fall. This one keeps whatever look I include it in from being to boring. As someone who loves basics, I'm always making sure I have one or two statement pieces in a look paired with some interested details!
