Happy Monday guys! I hope you had an amazing weekend! I don't know where it went... it flew by! I absolutely loved getting to spend Saturday with Ross (and Myko) though. We got some work & chores done around the apartment in the morning, then went into Philly for a photoshoot & date in the late afternoon. It was just great! I used to hate working Saturdays, so I'm really grateful that now any work I have to do I can do from home or with Ross!

Speaking of the shoot, this is one of the outfits we shot. I am so in love with so many of the items I'm wearing, I just couldn't wait to share it with you guys! First, can we talk about these gorgeous boots!? I found them in the 5th Ave Michael Kors during NYFW, on SALE, and was head over heels for them! They are one of my favorite purchases to date, and I'm so happy the weather is finally allowing me to wear them more! I LOVE how luxe they look with the black suede, polished gold buttons (which give them a bit of a military vibe and is so in right now!) and high platform heels (I need the height being only 5"4'!), but I am also so impressed at how comfortable they are! I did a good bit of walking in them and have no complaints, I would never guess they were as high as they are. They're comfy, cute, and super versatile, which means I'll get a lot of wear out of them!

I also love this skirt! I am such a jeans-lover, which I think miiiight stem from the fact that I wasn't allowed to wear jeans for a good chunk of my pre-teen/teen years. I tend to wear them all the time now; I just love them! But every fall I tend to get an itch to wear cute corduroy skirts with boots. While on the hunt for a brown one (which I am still hunting for! send me ideas if you know of some cute ones!), I stumbled upon this plaid gem. I love how it is the same gorgeous plaid material that is popping everywhere in the form of a blazer. I am still toying with the idea of getting a blazer in a similar print, as it looks so amazing! But since everyone is wearing plaid blazers right now, I kind of like how this skirt lets me incorporate the trending material in a different way! The skirt runs pretty true to size, and does not look this wrinkly if you steam it (I just forgot to before this shoot!). It's also a great deal for $55! You might not have to spend a penny on it or the boots though, as I'm giving away an amazing gift card at the end of the blog post! It's for one of my favorite department stores and you can snag everything I'm wearing there!

I also need to mention the beautiful jewelry I'm wearing in this look. I'm so excited to be partnering up with Lagos to celebrate their new 18k Gold Collection! (If you didn't catch my Instagram post yesterday, I'll be at their flagship store this Thursday evening kicking of a weekend of fun events they're doing in celebration of the launch. I would love so much to meet some of you guys, so please stop by and say hi!) I love how beautifully the gold caviar jewelry pairs with my outfit. My look is simple & classic with a European flare, but the jewelry gives it a much more luxe vibe while tying in so perfectly with the gold on my boots!
