Happy Tuesday, my loves! If I'm honest, it hasn't been the happiest Tuesday, or week, for me. It's still a struggle for me not to cry when I think of or see a photo of Misty. I feel like I have a hole in my heart, and just wish things had turned out differently. But I know God knows, cares, and will continue to give grace abundantly, as He always does. I also take comfort in knowing that she is no longer suffering and that time will heal my heart. So, I'm choosing to focus on and pour myself into the things that I love and am blessed to still have in my life.

On that note, I am going through with a post that I had scheduled for today: part two of my boyfriend jeans series!

Part 2 - Comfy & Casual

Turns out distressed boyfriend jeans also look good dressed down. Instead of pairing them with more dressy/statement pieces for this look, I instead paired them with some comfortable and casual, yet still super cute pieces:

Loose, Dressy Tee - Obviously I mean dressy very lightly here. Any tee that's loose/flowy yet has some cute details on it works great! Whether its ruffles, sequins, text, or beads, a tee that's embellished in some way keeps you from being boring or too casual, while keeping you relaxed and comfortable!

Mules - I adore mules. They're pretty much the only heel I know of that is so comfortable and easy to walk in! Block heels are a close second and could totally work for this look! Heels obviously elevate any look, but if you're aiming to be comfortable and not too dressed up, mules are the way to go. I nabbed these (along with this stellar pair of boyfriend jeans) at an outlet about 2 summers ago, but I linked some similar pairs below!

Jewelry - I actually didn't change my jewelry up much between my dressy and casual look, and I love how it looks with both! jewelry totally elevates and adds character to any look. Layering and stacking a lot of jewelry looks so good with the loose tee and jeans!
