Happy Thursday Everyone! So I'm finally wrapping up the Paris posts (sadly, I love thinking back on the trip and posting the photos, it's so hard to not take a beautiful photo there!) with some of my favorite things we did while visiting, most of which were free or very inexpensive! I think they're things worth doing that I know we will try to do when back. I hope they're helpful! :)

Strolling Around with a Baguette

Paris is such beautiful, walkable city, that we found one of our favorite things to do was to walk around when the weather was nice. A good baguette in Paris costs less than a Euro and somehow ends up being the best-tasting bread you've ever had! I don't know what they put in them, but we had several amazing afternoons enjoying a baguette and just strolling around together, taking Paris in!

Visit Champagne Region

One of our fun escapes outside of Paris was our trip to Eperny, a little country town that is home to many of the champagne houses, including Moet et Chandon. To tour the champagne houses, you usually have to purchase tickets. The ticket prices for Moet were very reasonable, around €30 and included a tour explaining how they make their champagne complete with a glass of Moet at the end!

Visit Notre Dame

This was one of my favorite touristy things we did on our trip. Part of the reason it was so special for me is because of my faith; there were so many pieces of art focused on the crucifixion, and it was such a powerful reminder to me of just how deep God's unconditional love for me (and you!) is. It's also just so breathtaking in person. The artfully detailed architecture, inside and out, is so lovely to look at and photograph. We were also so lucky to happen to be there while a service was taking place, and the singing was equally as beautiful!

Walk Along Champs-Élysées

Champs-Élysées is such a fun stretch to walk down! I definitely recommend starting at the top (or bottom, depending how you think of it), by L'Arc de Triomphe, as that's a great landmark to see and place to take photos. Then as you stroll down, there are so many great places to shop and eat: Zara, perfumeries, French stores you've never heard of, 5 Guys, Ladurée, the Louis Vuitton flagship...and so much more. About halfway down it, you can take a right and shop high-end on Avenue Montagne, or you can take a right a bit further down to see the Grand Palais. If you stay straight, you pass through some lovely gardens and end up at the Giant Ferris wheel, Roue de Paris. You won't be bored or short on beautiful things to see!

Visit Montmartre

What a fun little mountaintop town this was! We ended up there for an event with Revolve, but spent some time exploring after and loved the area! Cobblestone streets, cute little shops, and lovely views are some of it's charming qualities. It also boasts the Moulin Rouge and Sacre Coeur!

Boat Down the Seine

This was one of my absolute favorite things we did while in France, which we owe a big thank you to Revolve for! There's nothing like seeing the city from the river. I imagine you can get cheap or expensive tickets, but I'd say it's worth buying ones where you can dine and relax! So many landmarks are visible from the river, that it's a great way to see a lot in a short period of time!
