Loves Lately — October 2020
Happy hump day! We're a bit into November now, so I took some time to reflect back on October and the things that made it better and happier... the best of which you can find below! Sharing one of my absolute favorite eye masks that you can snag for a deal right now, a fantastic non-alcoholic drink option for unwinding at night, a nail polish for those of us who smudge our nails within the first minute and struggle to have them last, and some favorite clean + sustainable + cruelty free beauty products that have been on heavy rotation!
Also, since it's been quite a long time since I've done a giveaway here, I'm also teaming up with some other lifestyle bloggers to give two of you a $500 Amazon gift card to kick off the holiday shopping season (or just save on bills haha!)! How to enter is at the bottom of the post. Good luck!
Bisous,

Sweet Reason Evening Blend
It's not news here that I'm a big CBD fan. It helps support your endocannabinoid system, which in turn supports a calm mind and body. There's nothing as relaxing as a glass or two of red wine after a long day, especially when combined with a bubble bath, but I prefer to not drink at least 3-4 days a week, as I work, think, and feel better overall. Sweet Reason's evening blend has been a favorite as it's free of alcohol and sugar while having a dose of CBD and relaxing herbs + adaptogens. I usually add a dropper full of CBD tincture as well, since I need a high dose to feel the full effects, but still feel more zen after a bottle of this. It's also way more delicious and interesting than plan sparkling water, and a better pairing than red wine imo for a bubble bath since it's chilled! Peach Jasmine is my favorite!
Longline Tan Blazer
I keep reaching for this blazer over and over... I think because it's so versatile: it's a color that goes with almost any other, is long and slightly oversized so it can be styled with a lot, and it's a very sleek, streamlined cut. I've been wearing with heels, sneakers, and boots. I love blazers in the fall, especially before it gets too cold, as they add a layer of warmth without being too much/as heavy as a trench coat. This one is Jijil and sold out, but I linked some other similar ones below!
ASH 'Dad Shoes'
I LOVE these sneakers! I never thought I'd be a fan of the 'dad shoe', but here we are. I'm a diehard now. Mostly because they're SO comfortable, dress down more elevated looks (bc let's be real, 2020 took style down a notch), and they are slimming because they're so huge haha! If you're not familiar, the 'dad shoe' is that old-school style, chunky and bulky trainers that, you guessed it, your Dad used to wear when you were a kid. Balenciagia started the comeback with their iconic sneakers, and since then they've been trending, and for good reason! Their products are well made, gorgeous, and practical!
Ideal of Sweden AirPods Case + Wallet Case
I've been a fan of the brand for a while, about 3 1/2 years, and am still so impressed with their new launches. As of this summer, they have airpod cases; genius, Sure, your AirPods don't need a case, but they make them look super chic, and as someone who loves style and aesthetics, I'm in. I also love their wallet cases, as they add an extra layer of protection (which I need), while holding my few essential cards. This prevents digging around in my bag for a while to find them, and allows me to go bag/walletless when I'm running errands!
Static Nails' Nail Polish
I had seen this newer nail brand all over Insta, but didn't understand the craze till I tried it for myself. I am noooot great at keeping my nails nice. I don't know how I end up being so rough on them, but keeping my manicure nice for even two days was a success for me up until trying this brand. The polish goes on so beautifully, dries super fast (so even clumsy and impatient people like me can't smudge it before it dries), and lasts about twice as long as any other polish I've tried! I didn't realize how great nail polish could be until I tried this one. I also love that their polishes promote growth & stronger nails while being non-toxic, 8-free, cruel-free, and vegan!
Symbiome's Renewal Daily Cleanser
I've been using this cleanser for about a month, and have been loving how it does a fantastic job taking off my makeup! There are few cleansers out there that can take off my 3 coats of mascara and think waterproof eyeliner in one go... and this one does it while leaving my skin clean and soft. The brand is also pretty fantastic... it focuses heavily on using science & plants to create powerful yet natural products that provide the skin with nutrients it's missing while being shelf-stable so they retain their potency over time. The efficacy helps support sustainability (and is a result of their clean & potent ingredients), which they also support through their production & packaging.
Wander Beauty's Baggage Claim
These eye masks are such a favorite!! First of all, they're gold, so they make for a pretty lit eye mask session. They're also super effective, stay in place, clean, cruelty-free, and vegan. I tested on one eye and was so impressed with the results... a darkish line disappeared, the area was smoother & firmer with a less noticeable 'trough', and overall my undereye looked brighter and like I'd put a tinted moisturizer on. They currently have an 18 value-pack available for the holidays ($45 for the amount you'd normally pay $75 for) and are donating part of the proceeds for it to Farmlink... so it's the perfect time to grab them if you want to try or just need a restock!
Lawless Make Me Blush in Angel Suede
Lawless has quickly become a favorite makeup brand of mine; as I've shared on stories, their products are fantastic while being clean, sustainably packaged, vegan and cruelty-free! Their blushes are one of my newer favorites, as I love the colors and how beautifully they blend! They also have good-for-your skin ingredients in them, like almond oil, shea butter, and squaline. I've been loving shade Angel Suede as it gives a healthy, youthful radiant glow!
Bare Mineral's Gen Nude COPPER Eyeshadow Palette
This has been a favorite eyeshadow palette this fall... the colors are absolutely stunning! The copper color, Bonfire, is a stunning metallic that can easily be intensified by using your finger or a water. I've been loving it on my lids and inner corners for a still neutral but statement eye look. The shadows are buttery, going on smoothly and blending well. I also love that the brand is clean and cruelty-free, and has a recycling rewards program to encourage sustainability!
