March & April Favorites

Happy Saturday!  Hope you guys had a great week and are already enjoying the weekend! Today I'm talking about some things that I've been looooving the past month or two, and just needed to share with you guys!!

Skinit Custom Pokemon iPhone Case

Skinit Custom Cases

So, I've never been one of those people who liked to create personalized mugs, or use photos, ect., to decorate anything, save putting some in frames around my room.  When I first started discussing a collaboration with Skinit, I was just planning on choosing a couple of their pre-made cases to photograph and share with you guys on my Instagram.  But then I was listening to Ross talk about this Pokemon tournament he wants to go to (yes, Ross does play Pokemon, and actually does so competitively... men never do grow up completely I suppose ;) ) and I thought it would be so neat to make him a Pokemon-themed phone case!  I'd done some looking around near Valentine's Day, but many of the cases out there were kiddy or too cutesy for a grown man.  I really liked that I could choose the picture and design the case for him.  I even added a cute little note in the corner, something that we often sign cards to each other with (sorry, I get a bit sappy sometimes ;).  If you are looking for a gift for someone who has a pet, sport or hobby that they're passionate about, I would definitely recommend checking out Skinit.  Their custom cases are great quality, and allow you to create a thoughtful and special gift for someone you care about!  The smile on his face when he opened his package with the case I designed put a huge one on mine!

(Use code bellebylaurelle for 20% off any order through May 31st - They also have a lovely selection of pre-designed cases! You can see a marble one in the photo directly below... Also, make sure the photo extends past the edges when designing your case, so the photo covers all the empty space on the case!)

Keno World Eau de Parfume, Skinit Marble Case

KENZO World Eau de Parfum

The second I smelled this fragrance, I fell in love!!  It's my absolute favorite fragrance I've found to date, and I can't get enough of it!  The scent is modern, fresh, fruity, electric, and sultry.  It's one of those scents that makes you smile every time you catch a whiff of it.  I always spray some on my wrists and catch myself smelling them throughout the day.  I could continue raving, but instead I'll just say that I am hoping they create a line of candles or scent diffusers!

T3 Volumizing Hot Rollers and Featherweight Luxe

T3 Hot Rollers & Featherweight Luxe 2

Are these not the most gorgeous hair tools you have ever seen?  There is even a rhinestone in the back of the hair dryer!   I'm such a sucker for beautiful packaging... obviously a product has to deliver on performance if it's going to be given 'favorites' status in my book, but if it does that and looks gorgeous.... insert alllll the heart eyes 😍 T3 kindly gave me these to review, and I loved them so much, I had to include them here!!  I can't say the hair dryer does anything amazing that most dryers don't do, but it has plenty of settings, is lightweight, and comes with a great brush! It's a great quality hair dryer, and is much prettier than most others of the same quality out there.  I especially loved the hot rollers.  They  create voluminous, large curls and completely eliminate frizz.  I've used a curling iron for a long time on my hair, and I do like the results, but the volume is definitely better using these!  What I like even more, is being able to pop these in and do my makeup while they work their magic!  There are few things I love more than things that make my life more efficient and save me some time!  I do have to either blow dry my hair mostly straight or use a curler to quickly straighten the roots of my hair and run over a piece before popping these on if I want smooth, silky curls, as I have fairly curly hair naturally.  But it still takes less time than doing my whole head with a curler and is less damaging than doing that!

Black Ankle Jeans

I picked up a pair of black ankle jeans from Forever 21 (for $16!!  such a steal!) towards the end of March and have been wearing them almost daily since!!  I know, I know, Spring is supposed to mean that pastels and white take over your wardrobe, but I absolutely love wearing black, and actually really like wearing the color all year round!  It's not only slimming, but it looks great with warm, darker tones like olive and rust in the summer!  And it goes great with pastels, keeping you from looking too washed out!  Black ankle jeans are perfect for looking polished and put together, while staying comfy.  I also love how ankle jeans tend to be slimming on your ankles/calves and look fabulous with heels!

Rosefield Watch

I can't get enough of this classy watch (clearly, I keep sharing photos of it with you guys!  but let's be honest, it photographs and wears beautifully!)  I love how luxurious it looks, but love even more that it has a stately, masculine appearance as well!  It adds an air of sophistication and elegance to any outfit.

Givenchy Power Fabric Foundation

So, I'm a bit late reviewing this for you guys, as I bought it on Valentine's Day... sorry!  But I have using it since then and loving it!!  Sephora just had their 15% off sale and you best bet I snagged this in a slightly darker shade so I'm well-stocked for summer!  The foundation already has good coverage, but it also layers well if you need more. It looks matte and natural on, and lasts all day for me!  It's a staple in my makeup routine, and I can't see that changing anytime soon!
