Happy Tuesday! Today has been such a gorgeous spring day, it's had me in such a great mood!! Ones of my favorite parts of spring is being able to leave the house jacket-less and in open-toed shoes. This spring's must have shoe is the mule, especially the block-heeled mule, and for good reason! They're the perfect spring/summer shoe! What makes them amazing is that they're the middle ground between heeled sandals and flats... They give you a little extra height & lengthen your legs (something I need being on the shorter side!), yet the medium heel height and thicker block heel make them so much easier to walk in that most heeled sandals!

They're especially great paired with skirts or dresses. While I love how a dress looks paired with sneaks on occasion, sometimes you need a shoe that won't dress an outfit down. Mules are perfect for that without sacrificing comfort! I'm so glad they're on trend this season, because I'd be wearing mine regardless ;)

Also, speaking of perfect things for spring... this dress is my favorite yet this year! It hugs in all the right places and is so flattering!
