NYFW Recap — Day 3 — Jordan Laurelle

Happy Friday guys! I was back in New York yesterday, and it was such a great reunion with beautiful NYC! I missed the energy of the city! I'm already going back up tomorrow, this time with Ross to stay through Monday, and I can't wait! I have some fun things to share with you while there! Although I'll definitely miss Myko!

Maybe I'm weird, but I actually get really sad when thinking of leaving Myko for 18 days... he is my little work buddy! Maine Coons are really social, so he is literally by my side interacting with me all day every day when I'm home! He will be with his grandparents though, so at least we know he will be well cared for!

NYFW Day 3 - Saturday - February 10th

So Day 3 I woke up not feeling so great, and it was our last day at Hotel Belleclaire, so I ended up staying in for the morning to pack and take photos!

Hotel Belleclaire was our home for the first part of fashion week, and it's a lovely boutique hotel on the Upper West Side. The Lobby is beautiful, with artistic glass chandeliers and luxe velvet couches and chairs.

My favorite thing, which I still miss, is being able to wake up and go right down to the lobby for the most delicious cappuccinos and French pastries! You guys know I love all things French, so starting my day with a croissant is a morning-maker! There were so many options and everything we tried was so, so good!

Erica had some campaigns to shoot while we were there, and the staff was more than accommodating for anything we needed! Check out this fun shoot we did for one of her campaigns:

PS- is she not the cutest!? While we're on the topic of Erica, if you haven't checked out her blog, Coming Up Roses, you need to. Not only is she the best roommate a girl could ask for (keeping my butt on track when I'm as easily distracted as the dog from UP) and an amazing friend (always there to lend a listening ear and offer solid, Godly advice!), but she is a super talented writer and her blog is chock full of helpful and interesting posts!

The rooms were also very nice and full of character; furnished with charming furniture and some even with fireplaces! And the bathrooms were beautiful, fully decked in marble.

After we checked out of the Belleclaire and moved hotels, Ross came up for a few hours, and we had a lovely date at one of our favorite French NYC restaurants - Café Centro. The salmon and tuna tartare's were delicious, as was everything else we had. They even spoiled us with dessert, and the creme brûlée was out of this world!!!

After our date, we headed back to the hotel and Erica and I began a long, fun night of photoshoots with Mandy from @ministryforstyle, but more to come on that in my next post! :)
