How to Style a Denim Skirt - Comfy yet Chic

Happy Tuesday lovelies!  Who here loves denim?  If you couldn't tell, I'm kind of in love with it! ;)  I have to be honest though, I'm pretty new to the denim skirt fan club.  I always used to love how they looked on other people and consequently want to wear them, but it wasn't until recently that I tried finding ones that I love wearing and feel confident in!

This black skirt is by Lovers and Friends LA and it's quickly become a favorite denim piece of mine.  I have a pair denim jeans by the brand as well, and they're also so, so good!  I wear them at least once, if not 2-3 times a week.  They're comfortable, soft, and flattering - what more could you ask for from a pair of jeans?!  I thought Lovers and Friends just had cute tops, but turns out they have their denim game ON.

Since denim is a bit more casual, I often dress it up at least a little bit.  So I wanted to share with you guys how I like to style a denim skirt for a cute but casual look, perfect for day or night!  I'll be sharing how I style a denim skirt for date night soon, so if you're looking for how to put together a dressier look, that will be coming soon!

My outfit recipe for a cute but comfy denim skirt look:

-1 tucked in tee (preferably with cute details)

-1 pair of block heels

-1 leather jacket or blazer to top it off!

And if you want to be extra cute, you can always add a clutch and a statement belt!
