Style Diary — 3 Ways to Style a Slip Dress

Happy Saturday!

We’re traveling down to Annapolis this weekend for a long-overdue visit with friends.  I'm thrilled to be spending time with them and to be visiting a city that I have many childhood memories in!  What are you all up to during your free time?

This pale blue slip dress is one of my favorite dresses, as it’s so soft, comfy, and easy to style!  I love the color too!  Today I’m sharing 3 ideas for styling it, that would work well for most simple dresses and are great for transitioning into the cooler weather!

{Details at Bottom}

:: Casual ::

If you read my post on this blush dress, you probably guessed a long sweater was going to make an appearance in one of the looks.  I’m border-line obsessed with how cozy and casual-chic long sweaters on top of shorter dresses look.  Pair with some tennis shoes, over-sized sunnies, and maybe a watch, and you’ve got a great out outfit for running around in over the weekend!

:: Edgy ::

A leather jacket gives any outfit cool points and slip dresses are no exception.  I was on the hunt for one to wear this fall, and absolutely love this one that the lovely people at Dezzal were kind enough to give me.  The quality is amazing and I love the zipper detailing.  They recently got several more styles in stock which are just a beautiful as this one!  I’m also a huge fan of these heels I snagged to wear for work this fall!  They were under $16 under Zara’s sale tab.  If you haven’t shopped Zara’s sale section before, seriously, do not wait any longer.  The markdowns are insane!

:: Dressy ::

This look could easily work for a wedding, especially paired with a scarf or sweater for cooler weather or over-zealous AC.  Or, swap the jewelry for pieces a bit less dressy, add a blazer, and you’ve got a great outfit for work.  These Steve Madden heels have been a favorite of mine this summer!  color, check out the!
