Style Diary — Fresh Take on Fall

Happy Friday loves, and thank goodness it is!! Hope you all had a wonderful week! Mine was crazy, and I'm more than ready for the weekend. Even though I'll be working for most of it, I'm excited to squeeze in some girl time tonight, and a date with R tomorrow night! What fun plans do you guys have?

I'm a very artsy & visual person, so looking at something beautiful always brings me some level of happiness. I'd even say it brings me joy, since beauty is a reflection of and gift from God. It's definitely a part of why I love style, nature, photography and accessories so much! Just having flowers in our apartment or pretty bracelets on my arm brighten up my day each time I look at them. Beautiful colors and combinations do as well! I am obsessed with the colors in this outfit, especially the three of them together. I love the rich, warm olive and camel colors combined with white. It's a welcomed fresh and different take on fall colors for me.

Speaking of white, now is the time to buy white jeans if you need a pair! Most are on sale since companies consider them a 'summer item'. This sweater is probably one of my favorites this season!! Its so soft and cozy, I feel like I'm wrapped up in a big blanket when wearing it! And I love how the cowl neck looks like (and acts like) a scarf when paired under a jacket. I've been wearing it as much as possible since the weather has permitted it. Sadly, it is out of stock (although, the one I linked below from Charlotte Russe looks suspiciously identical...), but the same brand has a very similar one in stock in a few different colors.
