The slip dress is a piece I consider a necessity in my wardrobe, especially in black! It's so European, in that it's effortlessly stylish and slightly feminine. It can stand alone, or be layered over or under different pieces so that there are almost never-ending possibilities for new looks you can build with it.
Today I wanted to show you a new favorite way I've styled mine, but first, I want to talk about it, because I'm pretty in love!

This dress is from National Ltd., and it is such a well-made slip dress at such a great price point! It's comfortable, flattering, and the quality is great! It's better than a lot of slip dresses wrinkle-wise; it's not wrinkle proof, but much better than most and it's made from a thicker, quality material. I also love the fringe detailing at the bottom!

Turns out denim jackets look adorable on slip dresses! It's a tad 'cute-sier' than I normally dress, but I just loved this combo so much that it's been on repeat!
